Vacuum Insulated Piping , also known as Vacuum Jacketed Piping, is an advanced low-temperature pipeline system featuring high vacuum and multiple layers of insulation shields. It serves as a superior alternative to traditional insulated piping systems. Compared to conventional insulated pipes, VIPs offer thermal leakage values that are only 0.05 to 0.035 times that of traditional insulation, resulting in significant energy and cost savings for customers.
Connection Methods:
To meet diverse customer needs, VIPs have developed two main connection methods: vacuum bayonet flange connection and welding connection. Each method has distinct advantages suitable for different operational conditions. These connection types are specifically designed for connecting vacuum insulated pipes with each other. When connecting VIPs to equipment or storage tanks, customized joints can be tailored according to customer requirements.
